VISION

The architect of the transition of the Napolitano family business from a retail monument shop to its modern manifestation is Emanuel “Nele” Napolitano. He is the grandson of Emmanuel, a sculptor working in Italy in the late 19th century, and the son of Peter, the artistic and creative force behind Napolitano Monuments in the early 20th century.

Vision Direction

Emanuel established the glass division of the company in 1965 and combined it with the family’s stone business under the name 3-G Inc. Along with his wife, Nancy, he managed both businesses and was responsible for most of the company’s innovation. Together, they’ve been an inspirational and highly successful leadership team for 3-G Inc.

In 1981, Emanuel purchased J. Kraig Monument, to expand the company’s market outreach. In the early 1990’s, the company expanded further with substantial growth in architectural and interior stone fabrication under the Stonecraft brand.

Today’s renaissance as the Acsent brand is a natural progression in Emanuel’s vision of transforming the family business from a small monument shop to a cross-disciplined ornamental art studio.
